For the past 10 years I have enjoyed being part of the music scene in Southern Colorado and the Pikes Peak region. I will be taking a leave of absence from leading the New Century Big Band for the next couple of years as I go to school full time but will show up here and there from time to time and continue to be part of the great music and good times that we have in the area.
The New Century Big Band will continue to play monthly Big Band Sundays. Besides great fun we have been able to bring in a lot of food donations to help fight hunger in our part of the state and city.
